Jet setter Justin Bieber wins NRJ Award, performs in France

He is a young man who does not stay in one place for long, Justin Drew Bieber. After flying to Puerto Rico to support Selena Gomez on her world tour, he returned to L.A. for a few days in the studio. Then off he went again - to France
Bieber flew to Cannes and went to the NRJ awards. At the Saturday Jan. 28 award show he sang and won the award for Artist of the Year. The NRJ awards are the most prestigious awards in France, given out yearly by the pop radio station, NRJ, based in Cannes.
Justin Bieber: Making 'Believe'
No official word from Bieber's manager Scooter Braun or his website when he's returning, though it's likely soon. Reports of his time in the studio say work on his next album 'Believe' is going well and he intends to complete it in time for a spring release.
Yesterday, the 27th, he tweeted to fans: "i never thought i would ever get out of stratford and now im celebrating in france. never gets old. ALWAYS grateful! #Ilovemyfans." He also won an NRJ award last year. LMFAO also performed at the award show.more information...

Justin Bieber Wants to be Like Madonna Rather Than Hanson

Justin Bieber wants to be more like Madonna and less like the boy band Hanson. So will we see the Biebs wearing a cone bra or a wedding dress anytime soon?
As much fun as it would be to see Justin dressed in drag, he doesn't want to be like Madge style-wise—he's hoping to have her staying power.
The pop star has seen what has happened to teen stars of the past—the appeal of the three cheerful blonde boys responsible for getting "MMMBop" stuck in everyone's heads quickly waned as their young fans grew up and moved on to more mature artists.
Justin Bieber and Hanson do have a love of repetition in common. In one of Justin's first big hits, he repeats the word "baby" just as much as they repeat "MMMBop" in theirs. However, he's hoping to make the similarities end there.
Here's what a pal of the Biebs told the Chicago Sun-Times about his need to stay relevant: "He wants to become what he calls a 'forever star,' like a Madonna or a Stevie Wonder or a Sinatra or Tony Bennett. He does have this thing about wanting to be eternally loved by his fans." This should come as no surprise since this is what every young musician wants, and it's obvious that Justin is going to work hard to make it happen.
Dating Selena Gomez might help, since female teen celebrities tend to go on to be more successful than the boys—think Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson. Not all of these lovely ladies make a majority of their money off of music nowadays, but they've all got projects that keep them in the public eye (and raking in the cash).
Dating Selena Gomez aside, Justin Bieber does have a very good chance at managing to stay relevant since he has a few male teen idols to look up to. He's following in former boy band star Justin Timberlake's footsteps by getting into hip-hop music and making the move to movies. His first film is going to be a basketball drama with Mark Wahlberg, who will also be able to give the Biebs some tips on staying relevant—he made the decision to abandon his rapper alter ego Marky Mark to become a major movie star.
So what do you think of Justin's desperation to stay relevant as he gets older, can he do it, or will Selena Gomez go on to become a big star like Madonna while he slowly fades away?more information...
